A Georgia woman is in Mobile Metro Jail tonight charged with identity theft and 36 counts of illegal use of a credit card.
Court records show that Jazmonique Johnson is charged with using a single stolen credit card 36 times at two area Wal-Marts and a downtown Mobile ATM in 2016.
Court records do not indicate a dollar figure for the amount of charges alleged to have been made.
All the charges are reported to have occurred on a single day in February 2016.
Jails records list a College Park, Georgia address for Johnson and court documents show she was arrested in Georgia and transferred back to Mobile Tuesday morning.
Johnson is currently in Mobile Metro Jail awaiting a bond hearing Thursday morning.
