The University of South Alabama Jags will be playing in the Arizona Bowl this year. The Jags (6-6) will face Air Force (9-3) in Tucson at Arizona Stadium December 30th.

The Jags became bowl eligible after Saturday's 35-28 win over New Mexico State. The official announcement about which bowl the team was playing in came Sunday afternoon.

Coach Joey Jones said the team is excited.

"We have a chance to break another record, a new program going to two bowl games in four years," said Jags Head Football Coach Joey Jones.

The Jags also saw its first SEC victory this year against Mississippi State.
