As South Alabama prepares for Alabama A&M, quarterback Cole Garvin, who started the last two contests for the Jaguars, is questionable for Saturday's contest.
The junior quarterback sprained his ankle last Saturday against Oklahoma State in the first quarter of the game. He remained on the sideline for the rest of the game and was replaced by junior Dallas Davis.
Head coach Joey Jones told media in Monday's presser that the coaches will "judge more" on Tuesday, but as of Monday Garvin "doesn't have much of a chance to play."
"Whoever our quarterback is has got to practice this week he has to go Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and be able to practice," Jones said. "If he can't do that we're probably going to hold him."
The Jaguars will host Alabama A&M Saturday, Sept. 16 with a 6 p.m. kickoff. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
