Scholastic Athlete for Week #8


UTV 44 and the gulf coast offices of Alexander Shunnarah would like to recognize the Scholastic Athletes for Week #8

For the Jackson Aggies, Marcus Ivan Stallworth II is currently a senior with a 3.96 GPA and ranks in the top 10% of his graduating class. Ivan is a member of the National Honors Society and is eligible to graduate with Advanced and Career Tech Endorsements. In addition to being dually enrolled, he is active in several school and community organizations. Among them are: SGA, FBLA, DECA, Interact Volunteer Club. He also volunteers with JHS Relay for Life, Salvation Army, and the Boys and Girls Club. He has been a member of the Jackson Aggies Football team since his 9th grade year. Ivan plans to attend either University of South Alabama or Auburn to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

For the Vigor Wolves, Cameron Williams is a senior and currently has a 4.0 G.P.A. He is the son of Michael and Valerie Williams. Cameron is a 2nd year starting Quarterback for the Vigor Wolves Football Team, a Vigor Ambassador, in the CISCO Networking Academy, and a member of Junior Civitan. He was also chosen last Summer to participate in an Internship with the IT Department of Mobile County Public Schools System. In addition, to being an Honors student and athlete, Cameron also has a passion for working with children with special needs. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine.

We would like to congratulate both athletes for their accomplishment both on and off the field. Each student will receive a $250.00 scholarship.
