Police arrested multiple people after a fight broke out at a Dairy Queen in South Florida.
According to Homestead police officers, the store manager, Belinda Ahwach, and the mother of one of the employees, Alicia Hodge, got into a verbal altercation that escalated Tuesday. The argument was over the store manager's treatment of the woman's daughter.
When Hodge and her daughter left the store, Ahwach went into the kitchen and got a pot filled with hot grease and threw it at them, police say.
Police say the employee and one of her family members then attacked Ahwach.
Police charged Ahwach with aggravated battery and aggravated assault. Hodge was charged with simple assault. Police say the employee and the other family member are both juveniles but are also charged with simple assault.
