The deadline to register to vote in Alabama is October 19.
If you're registering in person at your county's board of registrars, you must do so before the close of business. For example, you must register in person by 4:30 p.m. at the Mobile County Board of Registrars.
If you're registering online, you have until 11:59 p.m. October 19. You can register online here.
If you're registering by mail, your application must be postmarked by October 19. You can print the voter registration application form here and mail it to your local board of registrars.
You can request an absentee ballot in Alabama until close of business on October 29. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by November 2 or returned in person by 5 p.m. on November 2. Click here for more information on absentee voting in Alabama.
