The Mobile County Sheriff's Department is searching for two children, 11-year-old Samantha Manning and 14-year-old Jacob Manning. The two children were left in the care of their grandparents due to criminal activity by the parents.

MCSO is also searching for Sammuel and Alisa Manning to question them about their children's whereabouts:

On May 12, 2018, at approximately 2:50 am, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office was notified about two missing juveniles, 11 y/o Samaria Manning and 14 y/o Jacob Manning.
The grandmother reported the children missing to MCSO. She told detectives that earlier in the day, she and her husband were awarded custody of the children. Samaria and Jacob had been living with their grandmother for over a year due to criminal activity by the parents. The grandmother stated that after the custody hearing the mother came by her home to speak with her and see the children. The mother told the children the she would appeal the custody and get them back with her very soon.
The grandmother told detectives that there is a 16 y/o sibling, SAMMUEL ALBERT MANNING, IV, who was in the custody of DHR. She stated that while he was being transported to Strickland Youth Center, he jumped out of the vehicle and fled. He has not been seen since the incident. SAMMUEL ALBERT MANNING, IV case is being handled by Mobile Police Department.
Today, May 14, 2018, The Mobile County Sheriff’s is searching for the parents of the missing children, SAMMUEL ALBERT MANNING and ALISA DAWN MANNING. The Mannings’ are wanted for questioning as to the whereabouts of their children.
