Humidity is back up to where we typically see it this time of year. We'll see high temps in the low 90s with heat index values above 100 most days this week.
Today starts out mostly sunny, but scattered, pop-up thunderstorms develop in the afternoon. They'll cover just under half the area today. Rain coverage ramps up to about half the area tomorrow afternoon, and a bit more than half the rest of the work days this week. Morning lows will stay in the mid 70s.
In the middle of the Atlantic, there's a tropical wave that has a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression the next couple of days. This is way out in the middle of the Atlantic and its chances of holding together in the long term are slim. Right now, this is not a concern for us.
