In an effort to help spread the message of bullying prevention, the Harlem Globetrotters visited Mobile and stopped by St. Paul’s Episcopal School.

Two of the team’s stars, El Gato Melendez and Bulldog Mac gave an active presentation to eager students.

Both spoke about the “ABC’s of Bullying Prevention” which stands for action, bravery, and compassion.

Three simple words that hold a lot of weight and words they want kids to remember.

Bulldog Mac said he hasn’t been personally bullied but has witnessed it and made sure to step in to stop it.

He stressed to students that everybody can do something positive to prevent it from happening.

"Bullying right now is really big today. Especially on and off social media. So we just decided to come to school, try to help them understand their actions with words and behind a keyboard or cellphone," he said.

The Harlem Globetrotters are heading into their 93rd year and promoting The Great Assist Initiative which the team said aims to spread smiles around the world with acts of kindness.

The team will be playing December 4th at 7pm at the Mitchell Center on the campus of the University of South Alabama.
