Couple robbed at West Mobile apartment

According to Mobile Police, on Friday, May 19, 2017 at approximately 12:50 AM officers responded to the Creekside Apartments on Ziegler Boulevard in reference to a robbery to an individual.

The victim stated that he and his girlfriend were in the laundry room when two unknown male suspects approached them, armed with handguns and forced them to their apartment.

The suspects then demanded that the victims put items into a backpack, and grabbed the victim’s keys. The suspects then forced the victims back outside to the female's vehicle where they demanded property out of the vehicle, before forcing the victims back into the apartment. The suspects then took the vehicle keys and left the residence.

A third suspect got into the victim's vehicle with the other two suspects and drove off.

Officers later located the victim’s vehicle in the area of Welworth Street and Clinton Avenue. Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but the driver refused to stop.

Three male suspects exited the vehicle and ran. Officers were unable to apprehend anyone. The victim’s vehicle was returned.
