Police are working to recover a body found in Foley Wednesday night.
Detectives searched a wooded area near County Road 12 and an ALEA air unit spotted the body in a pond. They were able to confirm it was a man and worked with the Baldwin County Coroner's Office in the recovery.
Police have not released the identity of the body at this time, but said it was located near the home of missing 70-year-old Guarry James.
James was last seen at his home on Linton Lane Monday, July 15. According to ALEA, he may be suffering from a condition that could impair his judgement.
Foley police said the identity of the person and cause of death won't be released until an autopsy is complete and next of kin are notified.
