Just ahead of spring break and the summer season, sand is being added to a Fairhope beach.
The sand on Magnolia Beach needs to be replenished every year due to erosion.
Officials say it costs about 10 thousand dollars.
They say a more permanent solution to the erosion problem is part of the 6 million dollar waterfront restoration project.
The money would come from the BP fund.
Right now, Magnolia Beach is not closed but its certainly not safe.
