Juvenile who made terrorist threats on MGM now in Strickland Youth Center

Mobile County Sheriff's Office:

On May 1, 2018, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office began receiving messages regarding a social media posting that was threatening MGM High School and some of it’s students. The threat was made on Snapchat. MCSO Detectives quickly identified the juvenile making the threats and went to his home last night to interview him. The family and Juvenile are cooperating with Detectives.

This morning, May 2, 2018, warrants were signed and the juvenile was taken to Strickland Youth Center. He is being charge with Making a Terroristic Threat and the case is now being handled by Strickland Youth Center.

MCSO Detectives acted quickly in identifying this juvenile and assuring the public that our office does take these types of threats very serious. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE for any threats made to create fear or in-flict danger to any persons or establishment.
