The search continues for a Fairhope teen who has now been missing for 4 days.
Witnesses say Henry Wise, 19, and another teen were thrown off a jet ski and under a moving boat Tuesday in Port St. Joe, Florida.
Every day that Wise is missing, is another day his family and friends won't give up hope he'll be found.
Reid Norton says he grew up with Wise and the two became best friends.
Wise was a star athlete at Bayside Academy in Daphne but Norton says he was known more so as a great person.
"He was the life of the party. I mean, everywhere he went people wanted to go. He really did care about people," said Norton, "He cared about everyone. Everyone he met, he had a positive impact on. Everyone wanted to be around him."
Norton is now one of many folks searching for any signs of Wise off the coast of Port St Joe, Florida.
According to Norton, local emergency responders and search and rescue teams continue to help.
Volunteers from Baldwin County have also driven the distance to donate their boats to scour miles of Gulf County waters.
"Everyone's just circling the bay. There's a couple shrimp boats out trying to drag the bottom," Norton said, "There were some dive teams out earlier and some dogs. Everyone's trying as hard as they can just to find him."
The Coast Guard says Wise and another teen, Gavin Primm of Daphne, were on a jet ski together on Tuesday when they fell off.
A witness told LOCAL 15 the two were trying to spray the occupants of his boat with water when they cut the jet ski too hard and went under.
Primm popped up, injured by the boat's propeller, but Wise didn't.
Norton says this tragedy has hit everyone hard.
"No one wants to go back to Fairhope without Henry," said Norton.
Early on in the search, a life jacket was found in the water in the same area where Wise went missing.
That life jacket appeared to be cut by a propeller.
A memorial is planned Sunday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 at Bayside Academy where a cross will be placed with Wise's name.
